It produces and sells a variety of sweets that combine Japanese, Western, and Japanese-Western fusion styles,
including its famous confections such as "Yamaoyaji"and "Northman".
With a dedication to confectionery making that focuses on Sapporo's high-quality water and
ingredients sourced as much as possible from Hokkaido, the store celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2021.
At this main store, you can enjoy freshly made seasonal “Jo-Wagashi”(high-grade traditional Japanese sweets)
carefully crafted by artisans, as well as freshly baked “Northman”, a delicacy available only here.

Each month, we present sweets with a unique seasonal touch, allowing you to experience the changing seasons with every bite.
The taste of freshly baked “Northman” straight from the store's oven is exceptional. You can choose between two flavors: koshian (strained red bean paste) or textured tsubuan (chunky red bean paste). When you dine in the store's eat-in space, we also offer complimentary “Hojicha”(roasted green tea)to enjoy alongside your sweets.
This soft-serve ice cream is made from 100%Hokkaido milk. It has a rich yet refreshing taste, with a smooth and milky texture.The included "Yamaoyaji" pairs perfectly with the soft-serve ice cream.
