In August 2025, THE KNOT SAPPORO celebrates its 5th anniversary.
Under the theme “Grateful Green”, we will host a series of summer-exclusive events to express our heartfelt gratitude.
From a special anniversary Chef’s plate and cocktails to a limited-time anniversary capsule toy giveaway, green installations featuring locally sourced flowers and foliage, and hands-on woodcraft workshops—guests can look forward to a range of memorable experiences.

It has been five years since THE KNOT took root in Sapporo—connecting travelers with the city, and the city with its people. Just as the seasons shift and deepen the bond between people and their surroundings, our hotel has grown together with the city of Sapporo.
The words “Grateful Green” reflect our heartfelt appreciation for the past five years, and our hope to continue growing in harmony with Sapporo in the years to come.

The Chef’s plate is themed “Grateful Green,” a celebration of gratitude and the vibrant beauty of summer.
Our chef’s recommendation is a refreshing glass dessert that combines the sweetness of mango with the tartness of lime for a perfectly balanced flavor.
Playful “5” motifs and heart-shaped accents symbolizing gratitude adorn the plate, creating a presentation that is both elegant and cool—perfect for the season.

“Grateful Green” Installation
Inspired by our anniversary theme “Grateful Green”, a special installation featuring flowers and greenery sourced from Hokkaido will be on display.
The display embodies the meanings behind “KNOT—a symbol of connection—”and “CYCLE—the natural rhythm of life“, reflecting the ecosystem of lush greenery.

Workshop: Crafting with Hokkaido Wood (For staying guests only)
Join our exclusive workshop using Donan cedar, grown in southern Hokkaido.
Choose your favorite animal-shaped piece inspired by local wildlife, decorate it with your original pattern, and assemble your very own forest creature—one that exists nowhere else in the world.
