At THE KNOT HIROSHIMA, the weekly “KNOT Hour – Music Night” brings together talented DJs from across Hiroshima, creating a space where music sparks meaningful encounters and new connections on the hotel’s top floor.

And this summer, we’re taking it to new heights.
With the city skyline as our backdrop, a one-night-only special event will unfold on our open-air rooftop.

For this exclusive edition, “KNOT HOUR × from Skratch,” we welcome two headline artists:
DJ SHOTA, a Hiroshima native who performs on the global stage,
and DJ Santa Monica, a member of the internationally acclaimed rock band MAN WITH A MISSION, known for electrifying festivals around the world.

Joining them are leading figures from Hiroshima’s DJ culture, including DJ DOM-AUTO and DJ BAHN, along with other top-tier local talents—
all coming together to fill the summer night with exceptional sound and energy.

Whether you’re a passionate music lover or a curious newcomer to DJ culture,
this one-night-only KNOT Hour will leave a lasting impression on the heart of Hiroshima.

【About DJ SHOTA × DJ Santa Monica】
A turntable duo featuring DJ SHOTA, DMC Japan Champion, and DJ Santa Monica, member of the internationally acclaimed rock band MAN WITH A MISSION.
Together, they bring a unique blend of technical mastery and high-energy performance to the stage.

DJ SHOTA

Born in Kure, Hiroshima, DJ SHOTA rose to national prominence after winning his very first DJ battle—the Teens DJ Championship 2006.
In 2009, he claimed the top title in the Battle Category of the DMC JAPAN DJ Championships.
By 2013, he had earned 4th place in the IDA World DJ Championships held in Poland, followed by another DMC JAPAN victory in the Single Category in 2015. He went on to achieve 5th place in the DMC World Finals, firmly establishing his name on the global stage. These accolades are a testament not only to his technical mastery, but to his passion for treating the turntable as a true musical instrument—making DJ SHOTA a singular artist in the world of turntablism.

DJ Santa Monica is a member of the internationally acclaimed rock band MAN WITH A MISSION.
A devoted fan of club music, he seamlessly blends its essence into the band’s sound, helping to craft a style that is truly one-of-a-kind.

Known affectionately as the “Turntable Party Animal,” this wolf-headed performer brings infectious energy and charisma to every set—both on stage and behind the decks.
