While studying at Tama Art University, Takeuchi formed the filmmaking unit “woodpecker.” Today, he works as an illustrator across a wide range of fields, including magazines, fashion, products, and artwork for commercial spaces. His distinctive style carries a sense of nostalgia, and his work has been exhibited both in Japan and internationally.
