Our Gallery
Fukuoka has long served as a gateway connecting Japan with the rest of Asia, a city where people and ideas have flowed and new values have been embraced as it continues to evolve.
Tenjin, one of its central districts, is a place where diverse people and perspectives come together, giving rise to new culture.
At THE KNOT FUKUOKA Tenjin, under the concept of “A Neighbourhood Salon That Sparks Inspiration,” we reflect the diversity and energy of the city through art throughout the hotel.
Works in a wide range of media, including photography, graphic art, and illustration, are displayed throughout the first-floor public spaces, shared areas on each floor, and guest rooms.
Blending naturally into their surroundings, these works create opportunities to encounter new perspectives and culture in the everyday moments of a stay.

1F PUBLIC SPACE
The first-floor public space, where people come and go, dine, and converse, features works by artists with distinct forms of expression.
Yutaro Yamada’s graphic works make a striking presence in the space, while Eiten Oshiro’s work is characterised by bold colours and organic lines.
Their individual styles coexist within a single space, welcoming guests to the hotel.

Yutaro Yamada
Yamada works primarily in graphic design for printed media, including exhibition promotional materials and book design, while also creating paintings using collected objects as supports.
Eiten Oshiro
Oshiro is an artist who creates paintings using paint and colored pencils, as well as objects made from materials such as rebar.
Without preliminary sketches, he creates intuitively, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of the moment, conversations with people around him, and the music playing in the space.
ART ON EACH FLOOR
Each floor’s elevator hall features artwork by illustrator Shuntaro Takeuchi.
Even the simple moments on the way to your room become opportunities to encounter art.

Shuntaro Takeuchi
While studying at Tama Art University, Takeuchi formed the filmmaking unit “woodpecker.” As an illustrator, he has worked across a wide
range of fields, including magazines, fashion, products, and artwork for commercial spaces.
Known for his distinctive yet somehow nostalgic style, he has exhibited his work not only in Japan but internationally.
ART IN THE GUEST ROOMS
Art can be found not only in the public spaces but also in the guest rooms.
Each room features a different work of art, from photography to painting, adding a distinctive accent to the space.
Spending time with art in your room is another part of the experience at THE KNOT FUKUOKA Tenjin.

EINSTEIN STUDIO
EINSTEIN STUDIO was founded with the mission of “bringing Japanese photographers to the world,” promoting photographers and publishing
their work for international audiences.
The studio continues to introduce emerging Japanese talent to the world and participates in international art book fairs. At THE KNOT
FUKUOKA Tenjin, guests can enjoy its photographic works in the guest rooms.
