EINSTEIN STUDIO will be holding the JAPAN PHOTO AWARD 2019 Winners Exhibition at the 2F LOUNGE on THE KNOT TOKYO Shinjuku from April 11th.
The JAPAN PHOTO AWARD is an award established by EINSTEIN STUDIO in 2013 with the aim of showcasing new Japanese talent to the world.
The jurors are gallerists, editors, curators and artists who are active worldwide. We invite these jurors from in and outside of Japan to provide an opportunity for young artists to test their talents.
The winners of this award have each achieved great things: publishing photo books, solo exhibitions at museums, and collaborations with big name fashion brands, to name a few. Each has been successful in reaching the wider world.
This year’s exhibition features a series of works by the winner of the 2019 Patricia Karallis (Editor of the Paper Journal) award, Hiromichi Hata, entitled -New Matter-.
